Our Process.

Step 1: Free Site Visit

In order to determine what type of solar system is right for you, we will do a thorough evaluation of the proposed site, review your most recent power bill, and discuss your goals. These factors will help us decide what type of system is best suited for you. We will also give an introductory lesson on how solar energy systems and net metering work so that you have a solid understanding of what to expect when you transition to solar energy.

Step 2: Designing Your System

We use 30-year historic weather data along with top-of-the-line, most up-to-date shade analysis tools to calculate system size. Harvest Solar brings over 20-years of combined boots-on-the-roof install experience, so you can rest assured knowing your system will be designed by true professionals with real life experience.

Step 3: Developing Your Bid

Back in the office, we will work up a bid based on the information collected during the site assessment. You can expect to receive an itemized bid with spec sheets of all the proposed gear, along with our warranties and any other pertinent information. We know your time is important, so we will send over the bid in a timely manner.

Step 4: Installation

Harvest Solar owners Kyle and Brad not only design and sell you your system, but also perform the install. That way, they can maintain the highest standard of quality control in their craft.

The installation process is typically very low-impact. When we come to your home, you can take comfort knowing that we will be as clean, respectful and as efficient as possible. Once we finish the installation, inspections are called in to ensure everything is up to code. At that time, we will submit your net-meter request form (include a link to NW Energy example or have a pop up box explaining what that is) to your utility.

Step 5: Start Harvesting Energy

Once the utility installs your net meter, your system will be ready to be turned on so that you can start harvesting energy from the sun! During that time, we will offer a demonstration and tutorial of all the equipment, along with a complete system information packet including spec sheets, manuals, warranty information and any other pertinent system information.

At Harvest Solar, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer experience and will always be here to answer any questions that come up.
